The Chattahoochee Folk Hour with Josh Farr, and guests Mike Taylor, Tim Garrett and Grandmamma

Music educator/singer songwriter Josh Farr appears live on the Folk Hour singing his heartfelt songs filled with spirituality. Josh also discusses his approach to teaching music to elementary school children. Mike Taylor and Tim Garrett pay another visit to the Folk Hour, and discuss Mike's upcoming 90 mile run on the Appalachian Trail. Tim introduces us to his mother, Grandmamma, who calls in to give us a lesson in making homemade biscuits. Finally, Folk Hour host Ralph Taylor travels to the fictional town of 'Itsalligot' Virginia to find out more information about the recent earthquake that rocked the east coast, and he meets some interesting characters! This show has it all-great songs, funny stories, recipes, and great folks.

Nelson Thomas brings his traditional bluegrass music to the Chattahoochee Folk Hour. Nelson plays a variety of styles including clawhammer banjo, Scruggs banjo, and flatpicking on his Gallagher guitar affectionately named 'Sadie'. Nelson also shares interesting stories of his experience playing bluegrass in north georgia. The show also features 'Mountain Whipporill" recited by Dr. Billy Taylor of Greenville South Carolina.
