While on the campus of Brenau University for the John Jarrard Foundation concert series, Stella Parton took the time out of her busy schedule to give an interview for the Chattahoochee Folk Hour. During the interview, Stella discusses her latest book, 'Tell It Sister, Tell It', and her companion CD of the same name. Stella Parton didn't rely on the success of her older sister, but blazed her own trail in the entertainment industry, as singer/songwriter, actress of stage and screen, author, and producer. The show features the interview with Stella, along with three songs from her new CD-'Tell It Sister Tell It', 'I Draw from the Well', and 'Truth of the Matter'. Stella's story is one of determination, faith, hope, love and patriotism, and we can all draw from her pearls of wisdom.

Music educator/singer songwriter Josh Farr appears live on the Folk Hour singing his heartfelt songs filled with spirituality. Mike Taylor and Tim Garrett pay another visit to the Folk Hour, and discuss Mike's upcoming 90 mile run on the Appalachian Trail.
